Social and environmental responsibility lies at the very core of our brand’s identity. In every decision we make, sustainability is the key factor we consider first.
That’s why we’ve adopted a sustainability strategy that goes beyond the materials we use in our production or the delivery of our orders.
We know sustainability isn’t a “finish line” — we’re only at the starting point. There’s still much more to do, and we’ll keep moving forward, month after month, year after year, making sustainability our middle name and continuously improving all our operations to create the greatest possible positive impact on both the planet and people.

🧵 Materials
- All the materials used in our menstrual panties are either recycled or from renewable sources, except for the fabric in the waterproof layer — as we believe that increasing a product’s longevity is always the choice with the lowest environmental impact. This ensures at least two years of use (with machine washing up to 30°C) without reducing the waterproof performance.
- All our fabrics are sourced from Europe and produced in Portugal.
- Whenever possible, we use factory surplus materials, as long as they meet the quality and sustainability criteria outlined on this page.
- Composition labels, while mandatory, also serve an important purpose during the recycling process. However, comfort is essential — and cutting the label is usually one of the first things we do when buying underwear.
To avoid compromising recyclability at the end of life, ensure maximum comfort, and save fabric (cotton or polyester) that would otherwise be used for the tag, we’ve chosen to print our labels directly onto the fabric instead of sewing them in.

🚚 Shipping
- All our shipping boxes are made from recycled cardboard, as is the inner wrapping paper. They can be returned to us (in Lisbon and Guimarães) so we can reuse them.
- The card that includes washing instructions, fabric composition, and our direct phone contact (because it’s natural to have questions, and we’re here to help!) is also printed on recycled material.
- The only non-recycled item in our packaging is the seal label that closes the box. We’re currently working to find an alternative that ensures the box remains tamper-proof while being made from 100% recycled materials.
- We’ve chosen carriers with electric delivery options, and when electric shipping isn’t possible (such as for island deliveries), we offset the transport emissions to minimize our environmental impact.

🏭 Social Responsibility
- To meet the highest quality standards, we chose to work with a family-owned Portuguese underwear factory with over 45 years of experience in the field — and one of the pioneers in menstrual underwear production. We visit the workshop regularly and personally know the team who brings our menstrual panties to life.
- We make it a point to maintain a close relationship with our suppliers, ensuring fair labor practices and building strong, long-term partnerships that allow us to innovate and continuously bring better products to the market.
- For work that requires less specialization — such as the waterproof pouches used to carry our menstrual panties — we collaborate closely with independent seamstresses who have many years of experience and prefer to manage their time and income independently.
- We believe that, through this choice, we’re helping independent women maintain their freedom and financial stability.
We are a team of women for women, in a world where business leadership is still predominantly male.
We believe in the power of sisterhood and in supporting and amplifying the work of other women.
If you know of a woman, anywhere in the world, whose work aligns with ours, send it to us using the form below — we’d love to connect!
