Gabi Menstrual Bikini

The new Gabi menstrual bikini from NORM has arrived to normalize menstruation, even during the summer. Created with the same absorption technology as our menstrual underwear, this bikini is absorbent, discreet, and designed to give you total freedom in and out of the water.

How does it work?

The absorbent technology of these pieces is similar to that of our menstrual panties, adapted for use in water. The lining consists of three layers of protection: one that drains the flow, an absorbent layer, and a waterproof barrier that prevents leaks.
These materials have been carefully tested to ensure they do not swell quickly in water, dry in a suitable time, and provide comfort and security even during dives.

But... can I go in the water with this bikini?

If it's a day of VERY heavy flow and the menstruation is very liquid, it's a good idea to just take a quick dip, because the friction of the body on the fabric, along with the sea or pool water, creates the effect of a "washing machine". On days of lighter flow, you can stay in the water longer, without worries. Just like with menstrual underwear, we always recommend trying it first on a lighter flow day (or a cooler day when you don't feel like being in the water for hours), so you can adapt calmly.

How long can they last without changing?

Just like our menstrual panties, our swimwear collection can hold 2 regular pads or tampons. This means that if you usually change your tampon every 3 hours, they will last about 6 hours, for example. But we know that on beach days, we like to have extra security and change even more frequently than necessary. On heavier flow days, if you are in the water for a long time, we even recommend changing to a dry piece.

Care:

It should be hand washed and dried in the shade. Do not use fabric softener.
