Book "It's Not Just Blood" by Patrícia Lemos

The book “It’s Not Just Blood – A Conversation About the Menstrual Cycle” is my third published book and the book I have always wanted to write.

It officially arrived in bookstores (and hypermarkets and all the other places where books are sold) on March 8th, in a mix of chance and symbolism that fits well when what I have been advocating in this decade of Perfect Circle is the right of every person to their body, which is only true when we make informed choices, without fairy tales or half-truths, calling things by their names.

In less than two weeks, it reached its 2nd edition and is now also available in ebook format!

It’s about 250 pages with what I hope will be a step forward on the menstrual journey of those who read it, whatever their starting point may be.

Long journeys begin like this: with a first step that multiplies into hundreds, and then thousands, of first steps.

I have always known that this path was not meant to be walked alone, and so I thank those on the other side who accepted the challenge to change the world with me, one period at a time.
